Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Battle of the Labyrinth: Week of 1-20-14

Title: Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Battle of the Labyrinth
Author: Rick Riordan
Pages Read: 1-Finish (1-361)
Prompt: Does the title fit the story? Why or why not?

The title fits the story perfectly. Percy Jackson and his friends must save the camp and Olympus from complete destruction. So they must be led by Percy's friend Annabeth through a labyrinth that could kill you. Everything they do is through the labyrinth. But Kronos and his army are also using the labyrinth to get to the camp. So Percy and his friends must go through the labyrinth in order to find a way to stop Kronos's army.
So Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Tyson must go through the labyrinth. They make Nico a boy who hates them be their friend again and save them several times. They also bring a mortal girl named rachel to guide them. Grover and Tyson go missing on a search for the God Pan. So Percy sees that Kronos has taken the body of Luke. They try to stop the army but it was too late. They find out that Kronos was already ready to attack the camp because he knew the passage.
They rush back to camp. Then the army rushes out and there is a full out battle. Many of the half bloods go down. But a man they were trying to convince not to help Kronos comes to help. He helps them stop the army. They stopped Kronos's army for at least that time. 2 campers were dead. And most of the camp is injured. Percy goes back home on his birthday. His Mom's boyfriend asks if Percy would be okay with him proposing to his Mom. He says that would be great since that made his Mom happy. Then Poseidon pays him a visit. They talk about what happened. And that there would be a much greater war very soon. Then he steps onto the porch
to talk to Nico who snuck over there and thats where it ends.
